The Extinction of Mortality

Caravaggio's 'David with the Head of Goliath' painting represents a religious emulation with the main purpose of begging pardon to the Pope. In this painting, which includes young (innocent) and old (sinful) self-portraits of Caravaggio, he has created a purification scene by cutting off the head of the 'Sinful Caravaggio' to the 'Young Caravaggio'.

In my own work, I have depicted the extinction of mortality caused by the beginning of the new age by emulating the story of Caravaggio.
