First Avatar to play with the Chicago Philharmonic

In mid-2022, as DJ Steve Aoki was spending more and more time polishing NFTs and tricking out his Metaverse crib, Aoki's digital avatar was figuring out how to seize control of his physical body in order to pursue its own creative projects. Hacking Aoki turned out to be the easy part - But mastering the Tuba would take the better part of a decade. And yet, if you ask the audience of the Philharmonic’s 2031 season, it was well worth the effort.
