Captured

This is a vintage AKG D190C recording a rare version of a 1950's Harmony H-204 amplifier. The picture was taken on a Fujifilm X-T4 with a Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1.0 R WR Lens. This combination has been my go-to amp recording set up for years.

I recorded all the guitar tracks on my album Sights & Sounds which has over 30,000,000 streams on Spotify as of posting this.

I like to think of microphones as an instrument of their own. These two pieces of equipment have a lot of personality and they play together nicely.
