We were early for sunrise. Ridiculously early. Pitch black when I took my first test shot and already there was the tiniest tinge of colour hiding in the thick, dark clouds.
It was some time before things got really interesting and the sky made room for this one distinctive ball of light. It grabbed the colour and lit up pink and yellow for just a few short minutes. This was a 25 second shot. Just long enough to smooth out the water and define the reflection while maintaining the distinctive swirling ball of fluffy cloud and colour.
A dramatic moment in nature.
