As a photographer, we are always looking for natural frames that showcase our subjects perfectly. The master photographer can make this so subtle that you don’t even notice it. The leading lines draw your eye right where they want it. It’s a trick of the brain. My idea for this photograph was to take the same principle of framing the subject but do it in a much more obvious way. But my goal isn’t to draw attention to the subject, but rather the boarder itself. It’s a flip of the script. The Border becomes the subject subconsciously.
