Commensalism

Looking for the light from the ghost of former me

Reminiscing on past memories to balance my storm of toxic flaws

The intertwining of the light and the dark to create a symbiotic relationship for my personal gain

A practice of commensalism to take back what was taken from me

To be a better me

The world took so much from me in my early twenties, it left me with a broken heart. Trauma, after trauma, I became a jaded, pessimistic human being. I wanted my old self back, the self that I was before my traumas. It wasn’t until my mid-twenties where I learned to utilize my past bright moments, and dark moments to become whole again.

I was tired of being a toxic person. I was tired of being exhausting. I just wanted to be “me” again.

I wanted to be happy.
