I am ashamed to say this but back in 2017 I was 32 years old and had never visited Scotland. I have no ideer why!!
In March of that year I had planned a visit to the Isle Of Skye with the village of Staffin being my base for the week. With it being a 9+ hour drive to get there I had to break up the journey and Glencoe was my respite from the lengthy drive. After stretching my legs, sipping on my Starbucks and devouring some cookie-doe I took a small detour down Glen Etive.
As I passed Lochan Urr I was greeted by this regal looking Stag who was kindly framing the mighty Buachaille. I knew from this moment that my adventure had begun and that I had an image that I would be fawned of for a long time to come.
