30 Seconds with Paris

Paris Hilton? An icon. You? A relative newbie. What to do when you find yourself in front of Paris Hilton backstage at a fashion show? It's rare that you ever get a single clean shot of someone like her, but sometimes, very very rarely will you get 30 seconds where the chaos has slowed down around you, and you've got a window. I shyly asked, "Paris, can I get a quick shot?", and without skipping a beat, she gave me her undivided attention. This was a significant moment in my career, because not only did someone as prominent as Paris Hilton give me her time, but she then went on to use my work and repost it on her Instagram - a form of validation that can seem superficial, but can have a huge impact on a creative's confidence.

Also, Paris Hilton is a really lovely person. After I shot her, she asked me to make sure I got her with the other lesser known/new models, most likely to help boost their visibility.
