Alone

Alone represents how I have felt throughout the last two years of my life, living in one of the most closed off places in the entire world, unable to escape. The rocks that surround me emphasise the feeling of being trapped. There have been continuous barriers separating me from true happiness, preventing me from spending time with the people I love. I have truly felt alone for the past two years. But the glistening, bright blue water symbolises all that I have to be grateful for. I am grateful for the little things, like the beautiful nature we have at our doorstep. There are many things to look forward to, and the future ahead is bright.
