Tranquility

A moment of Tranquility somewhere in the fjords of Norway.

In summer 2019 I decided to escape my familiar surroundings in Germany, to drive up north in hopes to forget about everything that has been holding me down over the past years. All the negative thoughts drifted further away the further north I drove. I needed a few weeks away from home, away from all the toxicity.

This was the moment when I realized I did the right thing. Sitting on the shore, watching these kayakers float on the glassy fjord brought up a feeling of true tranquility for the first time in years. It was the first time in years that I was able to fully clear my mind from dark and obsessive thoughts.
