Revolution of a birth

‘Revolution of a birth’ is an original artwork created as an artistic representation of the “politics” behind the birth of each child in this world.

It starts with ‘conception’, amidst millions of sperms that roam around in all directions inside the “womb”, without knowing who they want to be, fighting amongst themselves while a rain of contraceptives shower upon them, preventing them from being woken up at any cost. It goes on, until that one rebellious sperm wakes up and decides to turn around challenging the system.

She/he/they/that aside, each birth is the success of a revolution started by that one sperm. In a way, it’s a microcosm of humanity that is reflected in each mother’s womb, with the odds of having a revolution being one in 400 trillion.

We all are revolutionaries by birth, survival is just a cakewalk!
