UNITY: Ikarus

Ikarus - No. 1 of my genesis series „UNITY“

The world is shaped by order and chaos, both found in landscapes. It’s up to the observer’s interpretation, which is which. Beginning and End, coexisting to keep a balance: creating UNITY. My genesis series explores the relation between order and chaos, portrayed through my vision as a landscape photographer.

For as long as we know the sun rises and sets every day, it continues to do so and will probably still do long after we cease to exist. Ikarus represents the need of light for existence to begin in the first place and plays with the perspective of the fallen sun, Ikarus himself. Getting swallowed by the ocean, drowning and sinking to the bottom of the sea.
