Sunrise Hues

We awoke in Oaxaca with an over-optimistic goal of arriving to the destination by sunrise. After hours of driving through darkness and unpaved streets, we were met with a road block and had to continue the trek by foot. Dawn slowly filled the sky and it turned into a race against the sun. We made it just in time to catch the hues of sunrise and encapsulated the journey with one of my favorite portraits.
