PEPE

Widely considered to be a pop-cultural phenomenon, the iconic portrait of Barack Obama caught the attention of millions during the historic 2008 presidential campaign. New Yorker art critic Peter Schjeldahl called the poster “the most efficacious American political illustration since ‘Uncle Sam Wants You.’” The image became one of the most widely recognized symbols of the campaign, spawning many variations and imitations, including some commissioned by the Obama campaign. Now, For many of us, Pepe is a symbol of hope, future, revolution, new development in the world, and will probably soon be the most beloved character in the world. By designing this poster, we wish to announce the emergence of a character far more important and lovable than any politician!
