The Traveling Salesman

The Traveling Salesman 11000x16000px

A generative artwork created using speech recognition and machine learning, to capture and visualise the spoken language in a collaboration between artist and machine.

The underlying lore and history of the world represented is autonomously generated by AI, and human curated.

A look into the ideas and the ways in which our own constructs and worldbuilding across interactive media have influenced the way the machine approaches writing a story, presenting a world, creating immersiveness.

The artwork is generated by inquiring about the world and its inhabitants, and depicts here "a presentation of the traveling salesman".
