Study After Caravaggio's St. Jerome, Part 1

St. Jerome was a scholar and a hermit, often depicted in Classical, Renaissance and Baroque paintings throughout history.

A study after Caravaggio's depiction of Jerome, this painting, brought to life with animation by Vityay Loki, is a self-portrait capturing a spontaneous moment of enlightenment, creative and spiritual awakening erupting in the desire to write.
