ETH 2.0

The environmental impact of Blockchains and NFTs has recently gained a lot of attention. I think these technologies are essential, but they could be more efficient.

Ethereum 2.0 promises a 99% reduction in emissions as it moves towards a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.

The upgraded network will use validators instead of miners to verify transactions. As a result, transactions will be cheaper, faster, and the concerns surrounding the effect of Blockchains/NFTs on the environment will be addressed.

This is a piece I made for the community to show how ETH 2.0 will be a much-needed upgrade for the adoption of the technology in the years to come.
