Tasmania holds a special place in my heart.
After my first trip being postponed, one year later I finally managed to fly out there, rent a car and travel around for a few days to celebrate my 27th birthday and also my 5 year anniversary.
I’d say we’re a pretty adventurous couple, so Tasmania was the perfect place for us to spend it.
We hiked for hours to overlook Wineglass Bay, we admired the incredible colours at Bay of Fires, made our way around the 99 Bends on the west coast and we even flew over Cradle Mountain.
Out of all the insane things we did whilst we were there, this was definitely one of my favourite shots I captured and It was completely unplanned which makes me love it even more.
We we’re just driving across the bridge, and as I looked in my rear view mirror, that’s when I saw it. I just had to pull over straight away and capture it.
It’s these spontaneous moments that make me love travel photography, you just never know what you’re going to stumble across.
