In January 2020, just before the Covid pandemic hit, I flew to Finnish Lapland to take photos for a client. Immediately after arrival I was picked up from the airport and on the approx. 1-2 hour way to the hotel we stopped for a short hike during the blue-hour. Outside it was minus -25°C and while it was already getting really dark the moon made the beautiful snowy landscape glow. After a while this beautiful hut appeared in the middle of nowhere. After I took a few photos we knocked on the door and the friendly gentleman invited us in so we could warm up. We have gratefully accepted the invitation because of excitement about the beautiful photo motif I have not noticed how bone-chilling cold it was so that I almost froze off the fingertip of my right index finger. Now after almost 2 years it still feels a little numb.
