Flame in the Wind

You could’ve walked on water. You knew I thought that… right? “You can do ANYTHING you want to.”

With your thirst to learn, uncover; and the way at which you fought so hard for so long; how you were built to create, to educate; and you had overcome so much already…

you were destined to do all the things they tell us we will do.

A burning flame in the wind— powerful, mighty, ferocious— you shone through. And then… you escaped me, your flame out far too soon.

I know one thing. I will learn to stop the wind.
