GIZA

I took this photo of Giza (@glagarce) in 2012 -nearly 10 years ago.

I still remember this day like it was yesterday. We were at Laguna Beach and my original plan was to shoot with Giza that day with a rangefinder film camera, but then I ran into some technical problem and had to switch to my backup - point and shoot 35mm camera.

I had Giza stand in the ocean and this was originally going to be a photo of her standing there looking directly at the camera- but she noticed the waves crashing behind her and that's when I took the photo.

I then uploaded this photo on tumblr in 2012 and It got a lot of love from so many people saying this photo "made them feel at peac"e and that "It looks like she's in the clouds"

Here it is finally being released it as an NFT almost 10 years later.

I am so excited to be a part of this community and look forward to connecting with all of you through art.
