Electrified Ferrari

I spotted this Ferrari while on my way to go shoot with a friend in Taipei's Lin Sen North Road red light district. To just shoot the car as it was would have made for a boring shot, so I wanted to use this effect to blur out the distracting background and try to create a cool effect.

My method involves shooting a regular photo, then lowering the exposure a but and shooting another photo at a slow shutter speed. Then I simply combine the two images in camera.

This method doesn't always work but I got lucky here with a shot I'm happy with!
