It was kidnapped in an enemy country and held captive in a cave by terrorists. Iron Cat was able to escape by building its own armor in a cave with a box of scraps. Iron Cat's genius-level intelligence has led to him being labeled arrogant on several occasions, making him one of the most disliked personalities in the Polybot Universe. Iron Cat thinks it is the smartest Polybot in the room, regardless of who it is interacting with. Iron Cat is well aware that it is capable of accomplishing everything it sets its mind to. However, it also demonstrates its worst trait: a selfish mentality that prioritizes one's own desires over the needs of others and pushes everyone else aside.
