New Kings - I

New Kings is a series of photographs celebrating Black & Minority Cultural figures of our time as the new kings of our generation.

Photographed on a ultra high-resolution medium format sensor and inspired by old antique paintings of Kings, the photos use the light in a quasi-painterly fashion to reflect on the subject in a bold and confident manner. The poses are heroic yet thoughtful.
