I started out shooting because I found pure enjoyment in it. I enjoyed documenting the life around me. As I got better and started finding lucrative opportunities, things started to change. It became difficult to remember why I started shooting. And many times, it felt as if every shot I took was going to be judged by the whole world. I have a dream and a vision that I want to share with the world, and it's that ambition that drives me to create, heavy though it may feel at times.
This photo was shot in an abandoned elementary school in Dallas, TX.
