While he was only a young inquisitor, Alric sacrificed his senses one by one in order to radically develop his psychic ablilities. His powers, coupled with the fear he inspired in other members of the clergy, enabled him to claw his way to the Holy Throne. In Forbidden Lands he remains, injecting his commands directly into the minds of his subjects. Nothing seems to threaten his reign, and his dominion continues to grow.
