On the other side of night terrors are daydreams - one of the most poignant daydreams I've ever had was the day I sat down and decided to completely change my life. I was unhappy, working a dead-end job that stifled my creativity and stuck in several different situations that ultimately didn't serve me.
I sat down and decided to daydream about what a perfect day in my life would entail, and worked to refigure my life one step at a time. Showing art in museums, experiencing sunny beaches and paradise, seeing the invoices fall into my inbox in the form of payments -- these are some of the things I imagined, and now I'm living that version of life.
This piece completes the Night Terror/Day Dream Diptych, which are both hosted here on Foundation.
