META - LAMP 02 by m-e-a-n

Meta Lamp 02 (originally dubbed LUUL) belongs to a family of lamps that share a similar topological DNA but vary slightly in their characteristics.

The structure is composed of a system of branching, linked members that resemble organic trusses. The form of the lamp and its structural articulation are scripted to produce a family of similar objects with varying parameters to optimize for aesthetics, structural integrity, and material economy.

The branching members of the lamp are articulated for rigidity and stiffness, becoming thicker and more bundled at the bottom and diffusing at the top to scatter light.

Meta Lamp 02 is a digital representation of our 3D printed products in the Metaverse.
