Drawing inspiration from Diego Riveras' "Detroit Industry Murals" (1932-1933), in which the mexican painter politically portrayed the socio-economic and labor context of industrialized Detroit; one which would catalyze the economic boom of the United States.
In a similar vein, the artwork '๐ผ๐๐ ๐ค๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ฉ๐: ๐ผ.๐. ๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฎ' posits the question of our current epoch's economic and labor boom, that of the data industry, which now extends itself worldwide.
Co-created between two A.I. systems and the artist, the piece aims to pose questions on the current direction of the A.I. and data industries towards humanity.
The text was co-written with the open source generative natural language AI system, GPT-J-6B and the imagery with a custom implementation of a text-to-image algorithm, VQGAN+CLIP.
Winner of auction receives full artwork in HD.
Half of proceeds from sell will be donated to the non-profit organization Algorithmic Justice League [ https://www.ajl.org/ ]
