R.R. Winter Gamma Python

Malayopython reticulatus (Reticulated Python) Animated Photographic Composite *Winter Gamma Edition

The “Reticulated” or “net-like” portion of its name refers to the complex geometric & color pattern of its scales/skin. It is widely distributed across the world due to trade but is indigenous to SE Asia. This particular specimen was sent to me by a fella out of Vietnam. They are considered the longest snakes in the world & are outweighed only by the Green Anaconda out of South America. The multiple rows of teeth secure prey during constriction, & yes, on rare occasions humans are on the menu. To turn the tables, the main predator of the Python is the King Cobra.

*Unfortunately, animals were harmed in the production of this piece but NOT by my hands. A stop was merely added in their existential roadmap. They shall live forever in NFT form. All bone material are considered found objects and/or sourced ethically.
