Simple Shapes - 04 Triangles

As a bored kid in elementary school, counting away the minutes until the bell, I became obsessed with mechanical pencils and graph paper. The perfect square grid the paper provided were my yet to be discovered computer screen pixels and gateway to drawing simple shapes to create complex patterns.

The Simple Shapes series hopes to capture that fond analog memory in the digital world by creating complex but soothing patterns and transitions using only simple 2 dimensional shapes.

04 Triangles - Arranging 180 equilateral triangles around a pentagon, and moving them back and forth in a set pattern and speed begins to take us even closer to realizing how simple shapes are the building blocks of our most complex movements.
