Yankī zuwari

In the silence of old Kyoto, Masahiro smokes his cigarette and thinks about the future of his gang.

In this illustration, I wanted to mix the colors of the nights of the "modern" Japanese cities like Tokyo or Osaka with the charm of the old buildings of Kyoto. The original photo that serves as the background for this scene was taken in Kyoto during my trip to Japan.

The background was created with Photoshop, then the figure was painted with Procreate on the Ipad.
