This piece is the result of a three-year-long pursuit to photograph a native Hawaiian sea turtle ("hōnu") under the light of the Milky Way, an event that requires a precise combination of several conditions. The finished artwork is a 5-second, looping, 3628x5442 video that encapsulates the magic and beauty of this unique moment.
