Smoky Mountain Painting

World renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture, this is America's most visited national park - Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This also happens to be my home. I grew up down in the valleys in this picture. There wasn't anything fancy about it, but it's the place that raised me and I am proud to call it home.

From top to bottom everything I want in a Smokies photo is there: clouds (or smoke) fighting the sun, blue, hazy ridges in the distance looking like a watercolor painting, and finally the valley being framed by the trees in the foreground during golden hour.

This photo was held back to be one of my Genesis pieces for Foundation. I really appreciate anyone just stopping by to look at it. I look forward to someone wanting to support me by picking up this piece of my home.
