Travel Addict

Miss travelling like I do? Travelling has been more like an addiction for me than a mere hobby. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am now desperate than ever to just get on a plane. I promise not to complain about long hauls in the future. I will not complain about the exorbitant taxi fares, the getting-ripped-off at a local market, the crazy foreign traffic. However, I will complain about not travelling and adapting to the new normal.

If you're asking me about what exactly it is I miss.. Adventure, exploration, exposure, newness. Trying to learn a foreign language, experiencing the culture, tasting new delicacies and becoming a different person altogether by the end of it. I love the thrill of negotiating in a foreign language: where you never really know just how much you got, but your souvenir makes you feel like paying double of what it's worth, is worth it!
