Queen of the trees

The Suzuka Forest Garden in Mie Prefecture is crammed with giant plum trees, and one of the largest plum trees is called the "Dragon of the Earth (地の龍, chi no ryu)." The sheer size of its branches gives it the magnificence of a queen, and some people who see this photo are reminded of the Crimson Goddess (紅天女, kou ten nyo) from the manga "Glass Mask(ガラスの仮面)," probably because this one tree has such dignity and glamour.
