The Overlap of Seasons

This photo was taken in Gunma Prefecture. It was taken from Shibutoge, a mountain pass on the border between Nagano and Gunma prefectures.

The photo shows the Yoshigadaira Wetland. This place is a collection of wetlands, rivers and swamps formed by volcanic activity. This area is a national park, and its beautiful nature is protected.

I took this photo on a day when it was getting cold from autumn to winter. There was a cold wave that brought very low temperatures and a little snow. So I was able to capture the autumn scenery of the trees and snow. I was impressed by the combination of seasons that I don't often get to see.
