Avalanche by Off The Atlas

Climbing big mountains is always a head game. Your mind can imagine worst case scenarios sometimes - like an entire slope below your tent dropping off the face of the earth as you sleep.

This piece was inspired by a dream I had - where the delicate slope below where we were camping simply melted away with us inside the tents. Luckily that did not happen and we were able to send a successful summit up Spantik Peak (7027 meters) in Pakistan. In any case this was one of the most epic places I have ever slept and a fine memory that will stay in my mind forever.
