I used to pretend the lights coming in my window at night were magnificent sea creatures, floating and drifting through my room. This piece highlights those days in my younger years.
For my first piece on foundation I wanted to pick one of my digital works that best highlights my self-taught talent. Along with being severely colorblind, it's been a hard journey learning what works for me, and finding a workflow that works with my disorder. Art has always helped with my depression, complex ptsd, and severe anxiety.
I've always used my art as an escape, since starting this journey, I've found it as a relief, support when I most need it, a friend in my darkest times. I can't thank the friends i've made already, and the community I'm slowing integrating into. I come from a background rampant with generational poverty, I want to use my art as a way out for artists like me, and myself alike.
Thank you for giving me a chance, Thank you for seeing me, and joining me on this journey.
