This painting represents mixed emotions; the feeling of being both full and empty at the same time. We as the complex beings we are, tend to carry a lot of emotions at once, and I think this painting portrays those feelings. I tend to paint in a very intuitive way, without having many preliminary ideas on what the painting will really mean. Spilling my feelings onto canvas with a paint brush, if you will. I also feel that the interpretation should mostly be up to the viewer, especially when there are abstract elements involved.
