Wandering around Japan for months I became inspired to create my own mascot.
Growing up with the name Teddy had some ups and downs, but when it was time to make an extension of myself, a bear was an easy choice.
So here we are at the piece where it all began.
Previously printed on clothing "Headless Teddy" #1 is seen sitting on a black and white tile floor with a yellow wall.
The black and white floor is representative of yin and yang, while the yellow for optimism and enlightenment.
Why is he pulling his own head off?
At the time I was having to make hard decisions about the direction of my future, while simultaneously living out what I thought was a dream life.
Headless Teddy became a way for me to convey how I was feeling about things without using words.
