"Eve" is a piece I made as a sequel to "Invisible Adam". The theme of this piece is "time and chance"; depicted by symbols of chance on the earring and the Japanese inscription on the fabric.
Life can throw you a six on dice when all you need is a two. Winners don't always get to win, and the unlucky sometimes get lucky. There is always a changing point in a game, where the weary would get respite, and the eyes with tears finally taste laughter. When this happens, feelings of sadness and doubt disappear like a fist when you open your hand.
Everything is not just about consistency, Van Gogh made over 900 art pieces but sold one. Regardless, put in the work, at the end of the day you can look back and say you did the best you can.
Truly, The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither is bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all.
