Russia 2021: The One That Chose The Truth

NFT was created as a part of “Russia 2021” project to support those who had suffered from domestic violence and also independent Russian social media which are going through rough repressions.

NFT-portrait of Anna Politkovskaya, one of the most famous journalists in Russia, who was killed 15 years ago because of her journalistic investigations. On the 7th of October 2021 the term of limitation on her murder was overdue while the murderer still wasn’t found. Russian human rights activists claim that Anna was killed for being honest and open about what was happening in the country.

The money raised on NFT will be sent to a shelter that protects domestic violence victims and to “Novaya Gazeta” newspaper where Anna worked.
