Self & Self

This picture has several personal and symbolic meaning that can be interpreted directly as becoming a man later in life. Betta fishes (in rosy maple moth color) and moth aligns with that gender symbolism. The character in this work is underwater, facing his own younger self, whom is all muddled up from the lack of self back then, seeking to comfort himself.
