Wildfire

"Wildfire" attempts to draw attention to the destruction of vegetation and fauna happening everyday around the world.

My drive to complete this work stems from unfortunate interactions I have had with wildfires in the past. However, both humanity and forests have the power to get back up time and time again relentlessly. With this message I hope to awaken something within the viewer.

For this piece, my own machine learning model was used, as well as my photography from the Ecuadorian part of the Amazon rainforest, the Teide volcano in Canary Islands, and an Irish oak from Cork county.
