"Käæ"

Käæ - Hope

Käæ is the goddess of the moon and ocean. She brings calmness to chaos, she is peaceful and just. Her forehead markings symbolize the goddesses before her and will be used to identity the goddesses after her. This piece was inspired by the nights I stayed up awake hoping someone would save me from the chaos that was my existence. I would lay there in my tears on my bed and cry for someone to save me.

As a child, I used to talk to the moon when I felt down or lonely and didn’t have anyone to talk to. I would search for it in the mornings when I had anxiety attacks, it was my source of strength. So this is me hoping that there’s someone behind the moon, some Being out there looking out for and listening to me. This piece holds hope that a goddess exists and she fights for me. This piece is me hoping my Käæ is out there, watching over me.

The collector will receive the time lapse of this piece and 20% of the proceedings will go to onboarding more women in the NFT space.
