Faceless Portrait: Swan Song

Mountain layers form subtle lines Under starry night dot endless light Millions of years apart from where they start A dying performance touches the heart

Light in the night sky takes time to reach our eyes. Phenomena in the sky could have happened millions of years before our existence and traveled vast amounts of space to reach us. Every time we look up into the night sky, we see the performance of light that tells the story of the past. It's wonderful and melancholic at the same time when I think the beautiful stars I see tonight might have died long ago.
