I have waited for your message for a long time, I have spent hours in front of a screen looking at your photographs as if that would calm my anxiety. While waiting for an answer from you, while suffering your silence, I left the only person in my life who never left, I left myself. I ignored myself more than anyone, I hurt myself drowning in memories, repeating them over and over again. Only by turning off the screen in front of my eyes for a moment I was able to hear that little voice that over time has become weaker, only by remaining silent I could hear that I am still here, that I did not never leave. It is a strange sensation, a nostalgia that stuns me. How long did I live on memories, in moments that no longer exist? No feeling is stronger than when you miss yourself. Who I really missed was me.
