Baby Day Gecko

An extreme close up of a Baby Day Gecko.

This very skittish baby day gecko was a challenge to photograph. Constantly on the move and very nervous towards the camera. After a few hours of getting used to me it finally relaxed enough for me to get extremely close with the macro lens and take my shots.

This is around 20 images taken at various focus points and then stacked and merged by hand in photoshop.

If you look closely, you can see my camera set up in the eyes.
