ASPHYXIA

Welcome to "ASPHYXIA", one of my most personal projects to date.

The economic, technological and cultural development of first world societies has brought with it at the same time a series of what I call "modern diseases".

Depression, anxiety, frustration, unhealthy food, created needs, overexposure to content, extreme competitiveness, the constant need to reaffirm our ego or social networks and all the side effects that these entail, are just some of these "modern diseases" that we have to face with few or no weapons and that our parents did not know about.

Each day that passes by it seems more difficult to live, prosper and interact in a healthy way in this world. Being aware of this reality and the future of this frenzied wheel that is the first world are the only weapons we have to choose how to and how much we want these new diseases to affect us.

"Asphyxia" is a visual approach to how these new illnesses affect us from an introspective and very personal point of view.
